To survive in the world it is no longer sufficient to be fit, it also requires smartness. This has given birth to the Group of Existential Learners or as we call it: GEL Universe which is a system standing on the four pillars of choice, freedom, responsibility and commitment. In spite of being a system of individual growth, it ultimately contributes to the greater good, and here in fact lies the beauty of existentialism. The Gel Universe consists of three types of groups HBGs, In House Activity Groups and the interaction groups. The In House Group emphasizes more on personal and institutional growth whereas the interaction group form an interface with the universe outside IMS.

Developed on the philosophy of Feel Good Factor the ‘Happiness Barometer Groups (HBG)’ help the student community to concentrate on each individual. Dividing ourselves into ten groups of twelve each we work for the individual growth in every group. Every group is based on a particular functional area, which is decided by the students themselves in consideration with faculty. As students grow comfortable with the system they get involved into cross functionality between various groups. Working under this system each student gets an opportunity to develop and explore himself/herself to his/her full potential. Working between the ‘entry statement’ and ‘exit statement’, the student plan, implement and control their objective in a well defined time frame.
